Refund policy
At Watch of China, we strive to deliver an elevated, flawless collecting experience. We offer a 14-day return window from the date of confirmed delivery, subject to the strict professional criteria outlined below.
To start a return, you can contact us at our dedicated curatorial desk: support@watchofchina.com. Please note that returns must be authorized with an official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to dispatching.
Prerequisite Return State & Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your timekeeping instrument must be in 100% pristine, unworn, and unaltered condition.
• Factory Protection: The original watch box, stamped official manufacturer’s warranty booklet, protective plastic films/stickers (including crystals, casebacks, and pushers), and micro-spec factory hangtags must remain completely intact and unremoved. Serialized authentication cards must also be included in their original state where applicable.
• Strap & Bracelet Exclusions: Stainless steel bracelets that have been sized (links removed) or leather/fabric straps that show structural creasing, signs of buckling, or sweat marks cannot be accepted for refunds under any circumstances.
• Proof of Purchase: You will also need the receipt or verified proof of purchase associated with your watchofchina.com account.
Damages, Diagnostics, and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately within 48 hours if the item arrives defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong reference model, so that our horological team can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exclusions & Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of custom products (such as special corporate orders, unique factory bespoke engravings, or personalized commissions) cannot be returned or exchanged. Furthermore, we cannot accept returns on promo-specific promotional vault items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific timepiece asset.
Exchanges
The most seamless way to secure your preferred reference model is to return the item you have via our RMA process. Once the return is authenticated and processed, you may initiate a separate purchase for the new timekeeping instrument.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you reserve the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As stated in our main directives, your item must remain in the exact same pristine, factory-sealed condition that you received it: completely unworn, untampered with tags, and housed within its unblemished original packaging.
Refund Processing & Logistics
Once your return request is submitted and accepted by our curatorial team, we will dispatch detailed instructions via email on how and where to safely route your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an official RMA will strictly not be accepted.
We will notify you immediately once we’ve received, unboxed, and meticulously inspected your return via our master watchmakers. If the movement and cosmetic states are approved to be completely untouched, your refund will be automatically processed through your original payment gateway within 7 to 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional processing time for your bank or credit card institution to post the transaction credit.
